This is my first tutorial on Photo Manipulation and it was also my first time to manipulate a photo. I started the project from entering a horror photo manip. contest and this was the result of one of my entries. The last little bit is really up to the user. You can either use the same splatter effect or do what you will. either way, just repeat the over lay steps when doing them and most importantly use your imagination and don't over do it.

Fantastic tutorial. Exactly the kind of thing I'm after to change some friends into.
Unfortunately I couldnt get it to work after I got to section 3. After much humming and Haahing I read through the comments and realised that it's not actually for photoshop .
Great look, and I'm sure the tutorial is excellent for GIMP. I'll try and see if I can work out the step 3 and beyond for PS CS4. In the meantime I'll get back to scouring the tutorials.
